The rule.
Every WOW member climbs the same ladder. To move up one tier you must complete a minimum of 3 drives at your current level. That's it - no test, no vote. Show up, drive well, and the WOW DB moves you up.
Rookie - 3 drives → Day Driver - 3 drives → Trail Ready - 3 drives → Sand Master - 3 drives → Warrior
What counts as a drive? A drive counts only when you complete it - RSVPing, paying, or showing up at the meet point and turning around does not. The drive lead marks completion at the end of each drive, and the WOW team holds the final right to decide whether a drive counts.
Welcome aboard. You're learning the WOW briefing flow, tyre pressures, sand etiquette and the basics of recovery.
You can read a brief, manage your tyre pressures, hold convoy spacing, and you've seen a recovery up close.
Multiple drives across terrain types. You can run a basic recovery, you carry the right gear, and you can sweep a section if asked.
Comfortable on Advanced events. You read dune lines, run the radio, and the convoy looks at you when something needs doing.
You've completed Warrior training: recovery technique, briefing, GPS navigation, sweeping, and risk management. You're trusted to keep the convoy safe.
